Lights for the Heart and Soul
Dear Friends,
In celebration of the eight days of Chanukah, here are eight verses, eight calls and prayers. May these ancient songs inspire and nourish our hearts and souls.
Oh Great Mystery, send forth your light and your truths.
They will guide me and lead me to your holy presence.
Psalm 43:3
It is you, Divine Source, who lights my candle
It is you, Infinite Presence who illuminates the dark.
Psalm 18:29
Bestow the light of your presence
As we seek to serve.
Save us with love.
Psalm 31:17
For with you is the source of life,
In your light we see light.
Psalm 36:10
Light is sown through acts of justice
Joy, as we direct our hearts toward good.
Psalm 97:11
Let us give thanks to the Infinite Presence,
Who makes the great lights,
Reminding us that chesed,
Steadfast, generous love is forever.
Psalm 136:7
The Mystery calls,
I give you good sense and fill you with light
So you can discern the path to walk.
I offer you guidance,
My eye is upon you.
Psalm 32:8
Come, let us walk together in the light of the One.
Isaiah 2:5
May the Chanukah lights illuminate pathways of healing and peace.
Much Love
